I have a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, at University Politehnica of Bucharest, in multimedia data processing, under the title "Automatic analysis of the visual impact of multimedia data". I am a researcher and member of the AI Multimedia Lab, at the CAMPUS Research Center from University Politehnica of Bucharest, with research interests in multimedia processing, subjective properties of multimedia data, deep learning, ensemble learning and deep fusion. I participated in 10 national, european or industry-focused research projects, and authored 25 papers, including 4 Q1 journal articles.

I have extensive knowledge and experience in using several deep learning platforms and frameworks such as: PyTorch, Caffe, Darknet, Tensorflow, Keras and Glow.
I have extensive experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, .NET, Python, Matlab, HTML and PHP, acquired during more than 10 year of professional experience and image streaming, compression and analysis frameworks like ffmpeg, OpenCV, pandas, etc.
